Island Traveler shared a heartfelt story of a smile changing his day.
It’s no surprise that he presents the theme SMILE! for the Weekly Image of Life!
*******
There are plenty of pictures in the family gallery of people smiling…people laughing and enjoying themselves.
That being said there is one person in my family who comes to mind for this theme.
Without a doubt it is my sister, Alicia.
I have five siblings.
Of the six of us, Alicia has always been known for being energetic and vibrant.
Growing up we can all recall one picture that was, and still is a family favorite.
We call it “the Head Shot!”
Words don’t do the picture justice!
Don’t you agree?
That smile remained with my sister as she grew.
The passion that she exudes every day is evident in her smile.
Witty and sharp Alicia has a great sense of humor!
She is generous, joyous and affirming.
So, to my sis I’ll say just one thing.
“Go Alicia!”
…and “Keep smiling!”

A great person to have in your family 🙂
Hi Judy – yes, she is! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
We should all smile more! They light up our faces, and bring smiles in return – double joy … =D
So true! This theme was a good reminder that a smile can be disarming and heartwarming. Thanks!

Thanks Cathy for sharing the vibrant, happy and inspiring world of Alicia to us. Her smile lights up the room and make the people around her feel good about themselves and the around her. I agree with your thoughts about her picture that words don’t do justice to the picture. Her smiled flowed so beautifully though the years….Have a blessed day my friend and best wishes to your wonderful family….
