Inside

The Weekly Photo Challenge is Inside.

I had a number of ideas for this topic.  I decided to share the following.

Can you see what’s inside?

2012-07-21_11-03-23_384

When I went to the mall this weekend I saw several beautiful flowerbeds.

I decided to take a few photos. As I was doing this I saw a bee go inside this flower.

As he was working, this busy little one disappeared from view!

This flower was pretty low to the ground so I’m sure I must have looked pretty funny stooping down to take this shot!

Inside…you never know what you’ll find until you take a look!

About

I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

I was doing something similar yesterday, bent over to look at a flower and a GIANT bee landed near by me. It was literally the size of my thumb and scared me pretty good

Hi topher79! Aren’t bees just great! They can be a bit imposing even though they are somewhat small!

When I lived in So. California I used to have a bush that bumblebees just loved. Quite a few of them would gather at once. They were fascinating to watch. My niece and I would watch them. I explained to her what they were doing so she wouldn’t be afraid. When someone later asked if she was scared she said, “No. You see’re they gathering up what they need for honey and they’re putting it into their pockets!” That put a smile on my face.

  2. Well, I’m glad we straightened that out! I HATE the ‘page not found’ thing. I am impressed with the fact that you got that shot. Cool. I would still be trying to get off the ground!

Hi Gemma! Yeah, I hit a snag for a bit there but I’m glad it worked out! It was probably pretty comical watching me get off the ground! It was good timing to get the shot! 🙂
