Splendid – Our Newest Branch!

The Jakesprinter Sunday Post theme is Splendid.

I have the perfect topic!

As much as I have written about my family’s past, it’s also important to look to the future.

So…I have great news!

My family tree gained a new branch this month!

This occurred yesterday when my nephew Victor married his long-time sweetheart Kristyn.

I wish them every happiness!

My sister, Alicia spent quite a bit of time helping Kristyn with all the preparations.

Here she is with my brother-in-law, Victor.  Proud parents…they were ready to celebrate!

Also celebrating were the groom’s brother and sister, Phil and Emmy.

Four generations celebrated the addition of our newest branch.

Splendid indeed!

About

I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

  7. Congratulations to the beautiful and happy couple. New family members are always a reason to celebrate . You have a very wonderful and loving family. I grew up in a big family too. Family holidays were always fun and festive. Sadly through the years some relatives have a change of heart. Good thing I have 5 sisters with lots of kids to fill in the gap. My son had a wonderful time meeting his cousins during his last visit.
