The Weekly Photo Challenge theme is PURPLE!

I love this color!  It’s so rich and vibrant!

How does purple fit into my day-to-day happenings?

One of my favorite beverages is an “infusion” of blackberry and elderberry by Taylor’s of Harrogate…a wonderful flavor that puts a smile on my face!

Hmmm…I wonder which pair of purple earrings I’ll wear today…okay, I admit my favorite pair is bottom center!

I saw a small plant this morning with a solitary purple flower.  It was so lovely.  It was also fleeting.  When I saw it at the end of the day the flower was withered from the heat.  I’m glad I was able to enjoy it for that moment.

In a previous post I mentioned that I crochet a large number of scarves for an annual give-away.  The purple scarves are often the first ones to be picked!

…and I can understand why!  You see, I have to admit I also made some for myself!  Here are a few that are in my own stash of scarves.  I know when I wear them I feel fabulous!

In fact, the color purple makes me feel so wonderful that I decided to have some fun!  All summer long I’ve had purple toes!  Cute – don’t you think?

What can I say except, “Purple!”

I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

Hi Judy! I have to order it on-line because I can’t find it locally! Believe it or not I also have another purple tea! It’s green tea with pomegranate by Republic of Tea – another yummy flavor! 🙂

LOL… Purple’s “in”. I love your purple scarf best of all – and the toes are magnificent. 🙂

  6. I’m not usually a fan of purple, but this post could convert me … I love infusions too, and lately have been enjoying a rose and french vanilla tea (it’s probably pink if i look closely) =D

Hello! Glad you enjoyed it! Jewel tones in general seem to go nicely with my skin tone so I tend to gravitate toward them! Rose and french vanilla…hard for me to imagine, but I have to say I’m curious! 🙂
