The Weekly Photo Challenge topic is Hands!

This was a fun photo challenge.

The family photo gallery had an abundance of photos where hands are prominently featured.

It was difficult to sort through then all!

I decided to focus on a number of photos that showcase my brother, Louie, his wife, Terry, and their children, Jason, Jim and John.

I chose these pictures because I think they speak for themselves…and they’re all about hands!

Helping hands!

I couldn’t resist cropping the photo of my brother’s high school graduating class.  This is the first row, where everyone is seated…and all hands are posed in a row!

Who would have realized it was such a great topic?!

I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

I like the Helping Hands photo. I also liked the cropped photo with the hands posed. I’m sure none of them realized it at the time the photo was taken!

Thanks, Susan. The photo of all the hands was taken a long time ago. This challenge made me look at a lot of photos, like that one, in a new way! 🙂

  2. You lucked out with so many good ones. I found this one difficult, but I’m pleased with what I found. I gotta hand it to you. (ouch!)

  3. Always here to lend a chuckle 🙂

  4. Nothing is more beautiful and meaningful than the hand of our family and friends whom we shared so much of ourselves throughout the years. From playing with our siblings, our kids or grandkids to the celebration of a special event like graduation. Inspiring post. Thanks.

Thanks, island traveler! My sister-in-law commented that these photos brought back a lot of memories, and the reminder how quickly time passes. You see, the children in the photos are now all parents, themselves!

  5. Nice photos for the theme!
