Sunday Post – Blossom

Jakesprinters Sunday Post has great themes that anyone can join.

I couldn’t resist today’s theme of BLOSSOM.

For quite some time the area where I live in Texas did not receive much rain.

We were in a serious drought.

Recently rain began to fall….and flowers are finally beginning to bloom in a big way!

Wildflowers, including the state flower, the bluebonnet line the highways.

It’s stunning to see.

I work for a large corporation; my particular location is called a campus because of the way it’s laid out.

There are large, lovely flower beds, and areas where trees, shrubs, grass and flowers are very well maintained.  Birds and other small wildlife call the area home.

I took a walk last week and snapped these photos of the some of the different blooms  that were occurring.

I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks, Jake!

I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
