On sipping tea and being cozy…learning to be still during everyday life.
I decided to start this blog because it’s something I always wanted to do. Sounds so typical, right? Well, in another lifetime a long time ago I used to keep journals (yes, this probably dates me). I found it introspective but also relaxing. It would help me to focus on things that were important to me. I found my inspiration for this blog from my aunt who has re-started her own blog, and who, with the assistance of my cousin has made video diary entries. I am so impressed!
So what’s important? Right now it’s taking a pause to focus on what’s important to me…my family and what they need…my health…my spiritual well-being…keeping a sense of humor in the midst of hectic times.
Why sipping tea and being cozy? Because these are two things that help me slow down and relax. Making tea is not instant. The water has to boil. The tea needs to steep. It needs to be sipped. You can’t rush that. Being cozy means that I am safe, warm and snug…and there’s a smile on my face.
I hope you’ll come along.
