Appropriately, the first theme is Happiness!
When looking through the family gallery I kept coming back to these pictures of my brother David, his wife Cindy, and their son, Matthew.
I think it’s also a nice little series to post during the weekend when we celebrate Father’s Day.

There is wonder and contentment as my brother is holding Matthew, his firstborn.
His eyes are expressive.
Here, David looks a little bit tired, but he is clearly happy.
There are times when we’re happy and we laugh, sing, dance, and jump for joy.
There are also times when happiness brings a quiet, peaceful smile.
It occurs with the realization that life is a gift, that you are loved, and that you are in the place where you are meant to be.

I could see the happiness in the eyes and smiles of your son and his family. There are no words to descried the first time you held your newborn in your arms. It’s like everything makes sense and you realized that God truly is good and amazing. Best gift any parent can have in his/her life. Beautiful post Cathy.
